“Star”

Registered Dental Assistant/Surgical Assistant

Star moved to Houston in 1996 from California and is married with 5 children and a puppy. In 2002, Star received her Certificate of Dental Assisting from Astrodome Dental in Houston. She has had the wonderful opportunity to experience the different specialties of dentistry including general, Pedodontics, and Periodontics. Among the specialties, Star has an enthusiasm for Periodontics. The variety of procedures brings a new excitement to Star’s passion. She loves to assist Dr. Bradshaw during tissue grafting, crown lengthening, sinus lifts, and enjoys the challenge of complex treatment. Star loves the one-on-one time she gets with the patients and enjoys getting to know them on their visits. Dr. Bradshaw brought Star on board in 2009 and appreciates the fact that being bilingual, she can make our Spanish-speaking patients feel comfortable and well informed.

Insurance/Treatment Plan Coordinator

Christine started working for Dr. Bradshaw in 2009. She is the Insurance and treatment plan coordinator. Christine graduated from the University of South Carolina where she met her husband many moons ago. Christine and her family moved to The Woodlands in 1998.

Registered Dental Assistant

Emily was born and raised in Conroe, Tx, where she graduated with honors from Conroe High School in 2019, and recently graduated from Houston Dental Assistant Academy in June of 2023. Emily has dreamed of following in her mother’s footsteps who has been in the dentistry field for 23 years and counting, ever since a teacher first asked the question; what do you want to be when you grow up? Emily wishes to further her career in dentistry and become a hygienist after witnessing firsthand that the field isn’t just about cleaning teeth but also about building a connection with patients and creating a safe environment where they can come in and feel comfortable.

Registered Dental Assistant

Katie was born and raised in Cleveland, Tx where she graduated from Tarkington High School in 2022. Shortly after graduating, Katie completed dental assisting school through RDA Prep, online. Since working at Bradshaw Periodontics, Katie has loved learning more about dental surgeries and caring for patients chair-side. Katie wants to devote her future career to dentistry as a dental hygienist because she has witnessed the compassion and devotion of the field through Dr. Bradshaw and her fellow coworkers.

Faye

Registered Dental Assistant

Faye began her dental career 23 years ago as a registered dental assistant. She stays current with continuing dental education classes- a commitment she takes seriously to helping patients maintain their dental health. Faye enjoys cooking, watching movies, attending church services and spending time with family. Faye resides locally with her husband and children.

Registered Dental Assistant

Desiree obtained her RDA in 2013 from Houston DAP and has worked in various fields of dentistry where she gained experience in clinical setting, general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, and oral surgery. Desiree’s passion for surgical procedures prompted her to pursue a more surgical assisting roll and has called Bradshaw periodontics home since 2020. Desiree enjoys taking continuing education courses and learning about new advancements in dentistry. When Desiree isn’t working, she spends time with her husband and two children riding horses, hunting, fishing, and watching the Astros.  

Rebecca

Rebecca

Registered Dental Hygienist

Rebecca’s passion for dentistry started at age sixteen when she began working as a sterilization technician in a small private practice dental office. Her love for the field grew from there as she earned her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene from Lamar University Institute of Technology, became a Registered Dental Hygienist, and then earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio. Rebecca has a vast knowledge of all aspects of dentistry, working in clinical settings for general practice dentistry, pediatric dentistry, and currently at Bradshaw Periodontics. Rebecca is also a dental hygiene educator at Lonestar College Kingwood Dental Hygiene program. Further, Rebecca was appointed by the State Board of Dental Examiners to serve as a testing agent for CRDTS for dental hygiene candidates.

Rebecca has and actively volunteers in public health settings, has participated in numerous medical/dental mission projects in the US and Peru, is a standing member in the American Dental Hygiene Association, served on the Lonestar College Kingwood Dental Hygiene Advisory Board, an active member of Dental Hygiene Educators of Texas. Aside from working at Bradshaw Periodontics, Rebecca is still a dental hygiene examiner, dental hygiene educator, a dental continuing education speaker, and a dental curriculum writer for RDA Prep.

Jamie

Jamie

Registered Dental Hygienist

Jamie is a Registered Dental Hygienist, with a primary mission to serve her dental patients with compassion and high-quality care. She has practiced as a dental hygienist for nine years and holds a position as adjunct faculty at Lonestar Kingwood College since 2017, supervising and instructing dental hygiene students. Jamie graduated in dental hygiene from Lonestar Kingwood College in 2014. Because of her nine-year long traveling dental hygiene position, she has gained extensive experience from her countless exposures to different dental settings and patients. Jamie enjoys participating in volunteering events both locally and internationally. In her free time, you will find her working in the garden, writing in her journal, or catching a plane.
